No Breaks Allowed!

I just finished the crazy work day to end all crazy work days. It started with me getting up as normal and going to work for a 6.5 hour shift before class. I went home and scrambled to do homework for about an hour before going to a 3 hour class. I left class and went home to make some food then rushed off to work again for another 8.5 hours. Yep, that's 17 hours w/o a break.. me sleepy

Kicking the Habit

Well summer is half over and I haven't blogged much. I've been to busy. Maybe once school is out in a few weeks you'll find some good reading material, but until then just keep reading harry potter 5.

I went from drug store to drug store today looking for that stuff that helps you quit biting your nails. It's been a habit I've had for a long time and has gotten worse since I took out my tounge piercing (I guess my mouth is bored). Anyway, it mostly happens before I notice I'm doing it so I figured this stuff would help.

After hitting up about 3 drug stores I finally found some at a Wallgreens miles away from my apartment (which is far to go for a drug store); however, it only came as a deterrent / nail hardener, which I figured was just as good since they're incredibly soft from 18 years of biting.

So I got home and put some on and it made my fingernails shiny... really shiny, which I do not like. I decided this had to be changed so I was forced to change the oil in my car a little bit earlier than I needed to (since there is nothing else I could think of that has made my fingers dirtier). It only kinda worked.

This better help me kick the habit...

Boeing in Limbo

Hi again everyone.

Nothing exciting this entry. No meaning of live--that's for next entry.

Well it turns out I'm not turned down for Boeing, but not turned up either. They're still deciding. It'd be nice to get that job. It will pay a lot better than my current one (30% more or so) which is nice with tuition bills and a trip to Toronto later this summer looming.

Work is keeping me incredibly busy. I'm busier than I ever have been by a lot. I don't know how much longer i can do this 2 classes and 40 hours a week and 10 hours commuting a week deal. Let's see if I can survive the summer. If I get the Boeing job my commute will be a lot better and that will help a lot.
