Entering the world of the Apple

I'm about to enter the world of the Apple. Well not really I suppose⦠I do already own an Ipod, but I am about to acquire my first general purpose computer from Apple. This will be the first Mac I've owned since the original 128k Macintosh that was released in 1984. I'm buying a new Mac Mini Intel core duo.
I'm not trying to be artsy or sophisticated or anything, it's just that Apple was the first to make a computer that satisfied all of my oddball needs. They created an astatically pleasing and feature rich computer that will work well as a living room computer. It has a built in remote control, nice pseudo-DVR bundled software, and all the plugs to hook up to my audio video receiver. The feature that tipped the scale, though, was the ability to run the both OSX, which will expand my knowledge of a growing market segment, and Windows. Yes, someone managed to dual boot their Intel Mac Mini with Windows XP.
The computer shipped today. Will the almost artistic OS make me dump Windows forever? I suppose we'll see.
Also, if you're looking to buy one, buy it from Amazon.com. They have occasional rebates, free shipping, and no sales tax. The combination of these three makes it much cheaper there.
