Ga. Senior Class to Try Integrated Prom
Wow, I had no idea how backwards parts of GA were. First off, it's 2007 (not 1967) and the school is FINALLY desegregating it's prom. Kudos to the 2007 student board for finally breaking away from this legacy, but to every student board from the last 30 years: You guys disgust me.
Not because you're racist, but because you refuse to accept the new state acronyms. It's no longer Ga., it's GA. It's been this way since 1987, but if their desegregation policies are any sign of their progress, they'll be using the old acronyms until 2027.
