Freedom of Religion

Recently Rajan Zed was selected to act as the first Hindu chaplain for the opening prayer of the US Senate. I'd explain what happened, but you've probably already heard. If not, read it from the source. Or better yet, watch the video.

Anyway, although I was first surprised that we have an opening prayer at all for the senate (seems to blur the line between religion and state), I was more impressed by Rajan Zed. It (sadly) almost seemed like he was expecting it. In spite of the jeers he held his composure, waited for the heckling to end, and completed his work.
